Food is about nourishment, you are looking where you can find some, but nourishment is not just about food is it, it is also about companionship and love.

What you bought was representative of what it is you are looking for, not specifically potato pancakes, but they represent something else in the area of your needs.

"and i was making my way home, only i don't normally shop in this place."

Then where you do shop is not nourishing you, perhaps you should try the place you normally stay away from, you obviously found some great purchases there that the other place apparently did not have or you would have gone there for the items.

"In my hand i had a crumpled up carrier bag"

Carrier bag, like a message carrier, like the mail man, it is a symbol.

"i had obviously taken the food out of the bag and carried that in my arms, god knows why!!!!! "

What you carried was an advertisement, for someone to see what your needs are, represented by the items you purchased. Potatoes are only symbolic of the needs you were advertising, symbolic, like saying, I need a potato couch, lol. What it represents is not important, the people who can match those potatoe waffles or likes them, will be what is drawn toward you, lol.

"I had a bottle of drink, think it was a green bottle and 5 large boxes of potato waffles (about 12-15 waffles in a box) "

The drink to me suggests more of a summery or spring setting as does the park...green is summery or spring as are most parks. But with parks, as the word suggests, it's a great place to visit for an afternoon but as parks go, they carry drama, and with the man there are boundaries that cannot be crossed, perhaps this is why you held the groceries for all to see, or you could say the goodies are out for all to see...unaccessible though they may be to him.

"I passed a small park (which isn't on my way home) and saw a man i like (but is totally unavailable) he was looking at me, we acknowledged each other when i passed him i got the carrier bag and put the waffles back in and headed my way home"

The bridge was just a way to get home by, a short cut so to speak in your dream space, it may not exist in your neighborhood there but it does in your dream space.

All in all, you are trying to find someone who fits the bill for your set of needs which you held out for the right person to see. So the unavailable but interesting man could see them. It was your way of saying to him that though he was interesting to you, that there was no hope for you two as a couple. This dream is putting message out into the dreamtime so that a space can be made for that right someone so whent hey come along, you will be ready and in fact are.
